Description
N-acetylated nonapeptide analog of Semax — the ACTH(4-7) Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro core extended at the C-terminus by Ala-Gly with N-terminal acetylation. Used in vitro as a reference compound in BDNF and NGF expression assays in neuronal cell-line model systems; the N-acetylation prolongs proteolytic half-life relative to the parent Semax peptide. Supplied as a lyophilized acetate salt.
