Description
Recombinant 83-residue analog of human insulin-like growth factor-1 carrying an Arg3 substitution and a 13-residue N-terminal extension that lowers affinity for IGF-binding proteins. Used in vitro as a reference compound in IGF-1 receptor signaling and cell-proliferation assays in cultured cell-line model systems. Supplied as a lyophilized acetate salt.
