Description
Recombinant growth/differentiation factor 8 (myostatin), supplied as the mature 109-residue carboxy-terminal domain assembled into the disulfide-linked bioactive homodimer of the TGF-β superfamily. Used in vitro as a reference compound in SMAD signaling and myoblast differentiation assay model systems. Supplied as a lyophilized solid at 95% purity.
Storage and stability
Store lyophilized powder at −20 °C, desiccated and protected from light. Stable for 24 months.
