Description
A 29-residue analog of the growth-hormone-releasing factor (1-29) fragment carrying four amino-acid substitutions that increase resistance to enzymatic degradation; the sequence includes a D-Ala residue and a C-terminal amide. Used in vitro as a reference compound in pituitary cell-line growth-hormone release assays and GHRH-receptor binding model systems. Supplied as a lyophilized acetate salt.
Storage and stability
Store lyophilized powder at −20 °C, desiccated and protected from light. Stable for 24 months.
